mission

To help reduce the dropout rate in the community. This is accomplished by bringing local middle and high school students to ASU’s campus to be tutored and mentored by ASU students.

WHAT: After school tutoring & mentoring program that provides expanded learning opportunities that may not fit into the traditional school day. The cost is $30 per semester, fall & spring ($60 for entire school year).
WHO: Students in grades 6-12 in the Montgomery Public School System & surrounding areas.
WHEN: Monday-Thursday from 3:30-5:00 PM beginning September through late April.
WHERE: Sessions are held in the Ralph D. Abernathy Annex room 220 on the campus of Alabama State University. 

 ASPIRE office is located in Ralph D. Abernathy Hall room 123.
